1. I have a MOLE problem? Does this mean I have Grubs?

Mole activity does not necessarily mean that you have a grub problem

The majority of the Moles diet is earthworms. Earthworms are highly beneficial to the environment and we do not apply anything harmful to these valuable organisims.

2. When is that best time to water and how much?

Heavy Infrequent Watering

Using a Sprinkler? Water for 2 hours per area minumum preferably in the early morning

Using a watering system? 1/2 hour per zone minimum preferably in the early morning

Light watering can cause thatch build-up and damage to the lawn

Do not water on highly humid nights - could cause disease issues

If extreme temperatures are in the forecast, heavy watering prior too, will help keep your lawn healthy.

3. Will your products kills all my weeds?

Weed control is an important part of our service, but it may take some time to reduce the amount of weeds in your lawn

Seeing those pesky weeds in your lawn can become "stressful", but know we are treating during all of your applications
4. Are your products safe for my children and/or my pets?

Turfco uses all EPA registered products at recommended rates.

Per recomendation from NYS DEC we ask that you not be active on the lawn the day we apply the treatment

Watering, if possible, the day after your treatment is always recommended
5. I have "Strange" looking patches and/or weeds in my lawn, what should I do?

6. I would like a copy of a pesticide label to review?

7. How short, or long should I keep my grass?

Turfco recommends that you keep you mower height at 3" or higher if you can. We also recommend that you never mow at a height lower than 2 1/2". This will keep your lawns root system healthy and stave away invasive weeds while retaining water for growth purposes.

8. PAYMENTS
* You can pay for our services in two ways
1. Per Treatment - Mailed check after treatment is applyed
2. One time Pre-Pay for the entire season (Turfco Pays the Sales Tax)
* You can pay by check or we accept most major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
